Testing & Certification
Your preparation for a fire relies on the proper function of your fire protection systems. All fire alarm systems, sprinklers systems and suppression systems are required to be tested and re-certified annually, or more frequently as required, pursuant to the National Fire Protection Association [NFPA] and local fire codes and standards.

Fire Hydrant Testing
A well-maintained yard hydrant system enables firefighters to extinguish fires and prevent large-scale damage or loss of life.

Anti-Freeze Solution Testing
Don’t risk frozen sprinkler pipes this winter. We will test them annually with a hydrometer and to and replenish the anti-freeze as necessary.

Pipe Obstruction Investigation
Corrosion and clogs can be fatal to your sprinkler system. Ensure piping, branch lines, and mains remain clear of obstructions at 5-year intervals. Flushing is conducted as necessary.

Fire Pump
Testing
An automatic fire pump augments the pressure and water volume necessary to protect large buildings with sprinklers. Marco provides affordable testing, maintenance, and repair of diesel and electric fire pumps.

Backflow Preventors
Backflow prevention assemblies are required to protect potable water lines. Marco is authorized to test your backflow device to keep your system compliant.

After Hours Testing
Alarms should be annoying when you need them to be, not when you don’t. We can test your audible devices “off hours” to minimize disruption and inconvenience.

Decibel
Testing
Alarms need to be heard to keep people safe. Our technicians record the audibility level of notification systems during annual testing and certification.

Hydrostatic
Testing
Hydrostatic testing of pressurized cylinders is required by the U.S. Department of Transportation on strict schedules. Let us remove the pressure of pressure testing your cylinders.

Monthly Extinguisher Testing
Let Marco conduct monthly “quick checks” so your extinguishers stay properly placed and operable as required by the NFPA 10.

Smoke Detector Sensitivity Testing
You can’t be too sensitive when it comes to life safety. Test your detectors as required every other year so they operate within their listed and marked sensitivity range.

Room Integrity Fan Testing
Don’t blow off “hold time” testing. It’s recommended annually and measures a room’s ability to maintain adequate extinguishing concentration after system discharge.

Fire Safety Training
As a regional authority on fire protection and life safety, we offer both classroom and live-fire extinguisher training, as well as seminars and product training for industry and trade organizations.
